I spent a lot of time in the Fall of 2003 and Spring of 2004 setting up a plant label printer for the Horticulture Department at City College of San Francisco. For the first time, we had labels on most of the plants at the department's 2004 Spring Plant Sale. The department graciously gave me its annual Department Service Award in recognition of my efforts. I used the award to buy a Kyocera Yashica T4 Zoom film camera which I took to England on a garden tour in May 2004. |
