Gardening is often the triumph of hope over experience. This year I am growing tomatoes - Oregon Spring Bush and Coro Rich (orange!) - in pots. I haven't tried tomatoes in a number of years as my soil holds the spores of the verticillium and/or fusarium wilt so pots are the only way I can grow tomatoes. This is an experiment - the weather has been alternately hot and cold and now that we are in fog season the tomatoes may or may not bear fruit. Watch this space!
